One of the selections on the Veyon console is an Open Website option. Currently there are a handful of websites set in the console for you to force on a student device. These are Clever, Schoology, Google, YouTube and YouTube Kids. Other websites can be set to open and you always have the option to open a custom website from the console button.
This enables the teacher to force a student device to open Clever for instance. Student can then be told to login for an assignment or whatever the teacher wants to have happen.
To open a custom website you open the custom website option from the dropdown and input the full URL for the website you want the student to access, name it and them save it. This setting will be cleared from the option menu once a new update is loaded to Veyon.
IT can add commonly used websites to the Veyon console so that when the settings are refreshed your custom website can be loaded on the new veyon console. This would then be available to all teachers using Veyon.
