1. Open File Explorer from the taskbar or the Start menu or press the Windows logo key + E on the keyboard.

2. Select "This PC" from the left pane.

3. Click "Map Network Drive".  You may have to select this from the ellipsis menu (dot.dot.dot) drop down on the right side of the file menu.

4. Choose an available letter from the Drive list.

5. Specify the shared folder path to the shared folder. The path has to be in this form \\ServerName\FolderName.  Spaces and capitalization matter here.  You can copy and paste the path from the list provided below.

6. Click Finish.


Once you have mapped the network drive, you can access it from File Explorer in Windows without having to look for it or typing its network address each time. The network drive will return even after a reboot of the computer.
