LSI or Layered Solutions, Inc provides Mass Communications Technology. MCT allows disparate equipment to mesh together and communicate with each other. Various devices and connections communicate their status and report to a main console.
The console then takes the information gathered and presents it on screens or LED panels all across the school campus based on parameters set by school administration.
Announcements, notifications, video and audio can all be sent to specific devices for general information, emergency announcements, weather alerts and lock down instances.
With physical construction happening on campus much of this system is currently not running or is running in an impaired status. As construction continues, various pieces of our LSI system will be brought active and other pieces may be disabled. Also, since many of the existing devices have been moved from place to place on campus, they aren't matched to their current physical location in the console which results in devices not communicating properly.
